    • Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer
      Thomas Shandell
      Tom was a founding partner of GoldenTree Asset Management LP (“GoldenTree”) in 2000 who from 2009 to 2014 was co-head of the business that managed the firm’s CLOs and separately managed accounts focused on leveraged loans which aggregated approximately US $4.5 billion. In addition to portfolio construction and management, Tom was responsible for managing a team of analysts dedicated to the bank loan business and was integrally involved in the marketing effort related to obtaining new loan SMA mandates and the issuance of new CLOs. From the second half of 2012 through the end of 2013, Tom assisted with the management of the investment research function in GoldenTree’s office. In 2014, Tom assumed industry coverage for investments across all parts of the capital structure in companies in the retail industry. He further served as a mentor to the firm’s investment research staff working to further enhance the professional development of the firm’s research analyst ranks. Tom was also integrally involved in the marketing of all of the firm’s investment products to investors globally. At the firm’s inception, Tom was responsible for investments in a large number of industries including gaming, lodging & leisure, auto supply, consumer products, retail, restaurants, food, movie exhibition and building products and was also previously responsible for the firm’s direct investments in companies with limited access to traditional financing markets. Tom has been a member of the firm’s Cyclical Group since that group’s formation, having previously been responsible for the firm’s investments in the automobile, truck manufacturing and truck parts industries.

      Prior to joining GoldenTree in 2000, Tom was at Bear Stearns for 16 years. As a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s High Yield Bond Department, he covered companies in the gaming, lodging, restaurant and leisure industries as well as companies in the auto supply and capital equipment industries. Tom was a member of the Institutional Investor All-America Fixed-Income Research Poll team of gaming analysts for the five years prior to joining GoldenTree, occupying the Second Team position. Tom spent his first eight years at Bear Stearns in the Corporate Finance Department before joining the High Yield Bond Department in 1992.

      Tom received a B.S. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1982 and an M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1984.

      Corey Geis, CFA
      Prior to joining Marble Point, Corey was a Partner & Head of Trading at GoldenTree having worked with the firm from 2003 to 2016. In his role as Head of Trading, Corey had direct oversight over 7 traders in the New York office and 2 traders in the London office. Corey has extensive experience trading leveraged loans, high yield bonds, stressed & distressed, CDS and FX and maintained direct oversight over the trading of equities, options, rates and sovereign bonds. Corey also worked very closely to maximize capital markets relationships and source opportunities with the sell-side.

      Prior to joining GoldenTree, Corey was employed at TD Securities (USA) Inc. for 7 years. Corey joined TD Securities as a senior analyst in their Corporate Finance Group before working as an Associate in TD Securities’ Credit Derivatives & Derivative Products Group. From 2000 to 2003 Corey was a Vice President in TD Securities’ High Yield Loan Sales & Trading Group covering accounts on products ranging from leveraged loans, total return swaps, credit default swaps and CLOs.

      Corey began his career in finance in 1995 at NatWest Bank, N.A. where he was formally credit trained and graduated from Rutgers College in 1994 with a B.S. in Finance and double major in English. Corey has been a CFA® Charterholder since 2001.

      Jamie Burns
      Prior to working with Marble Point Credit Management, Jamie was employed by American Capital’s Leveraged Finance Group from 2013 to 2017 as a senior research analyst. Jamie was specifically responsible for covering performing and stressed credits within the Aerospace & Defense, Infrastructure, Building Products, Transportation and Environmental sectors. Prior to joining American Capital, Jamie was an Associate in the Leveraged Finance group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

      Jamie holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.

      Jay Heirshberg
      Jay has 14 years of leveraged loan investment experience. Prior to joining Marble Point in January of 2017, Jay spent four years at American Capital, Ltd., where he was responsible for coverage of the Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors, as well as earlier the Automotive, Chemicals and General Industrial sectors. In addition, Jay was a member of the Investment Committee of American Capital Leveraged Finance Management, LLC and a Vice President of American Capital Senior Floating, Ltd., a publicly traded closed-end fund. Before American Capital, Jay was a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group of Siemens Financial Services, where he underwrote middle market leveraged loans, as well as project financings, in the US, Europe and Australia. Earlier in his career, Jay held positions with American Capital and BNP Paribas’ Merchant Banking Group.

      Jay received a B.A. in Economics from Brown University and a M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

      Bob Szuhany, CFA
      Bob has 10 years of high yield and leveraged loan investment experience. Prior to joining Marble Point in August of 2016, Bob was an Investment Director at CVC Credit Partners for 3 years, where he was the primary analyst covering the Aerospace, Airline, Environmental Services, Media, Metals & Mining and Tech Hardware sectors. Before CVC, Bob was an Associate on the High Yield Oil & Gas research team at RBC Capital Markets. Before RBC, Bob worked at Prudential Fixed Income on the High Yield Research team as an Analyst supporting coverage of several industries.

      Bob received a B.A. in Economics and Business from Lafayette College. He is a CFA® Charterholder and member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

      Greg Todisco
      Greg has 11 years of leveraged loan investment experience. Prior to joining Marble Point in April of 2016, Greg spent two years at ZAIS Group, LLC, where he contributed to the initial development of the Leveraged Finance platform and helped manage the group’s credit underwriting and trading processes. Before ZAIS, Greg was a Vice President in the Corporate Banking group at TD Bank. Prior to TD, Greg worked at Apidos Capital Management (predecessor to CVC Credit Partners), where he was responsible for evaluating and analyzing leveraged finance credits across several industries.

      Greg received a B.S. in Finance from Fordham University.

      Bill Weiss
      Prior to working with Marble Point Credit Management, Bill was employed by American Capital's Leveraged Finance Group from 2007 to 2016 as a research analyst covering large and middle market companies operating in diversified industries including technology, cable, media, telecommunications, business services, and food products. While at American Capital, Mr. Weiss also served as a member of the Leveraged Finance Group's investment committee. Prior to joining American Capital, Bill was employed as a research analyst with Deutsche Asset Management covering diversified industries. Prior to joining Deutsche Asset Management, Bill was employed by Bank of America's CLO Group as a portfolio analyst covering diversified industries. Prior to joining Bank of America, Bill underwrote and managed leveraged transactions in the Media and Communications division of FleetBoston Financial (which was subsequently acquired by Bank of America).

      Bill holds a B.A. from Gettysburg College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Hofstra University.

      Thomas Majewski
      Mr. Majewski is a Managing Partner and founder of Eagle Point Credit Management LLC. Mr. Majewski’s experience in the CLO market dates back to the 1990s. Mr. Majewski has been involved in the formation and/or monetisation of many CLO transactions across multiple market cycles. Mr. Majewski led the creation of some of the earliest refinancing CLOs in the early 2000s, developing techniques that are now commonplace in the market. He has spent his entire career in the structured finance and credit markets.

      Prior to joining Eagle Point in September 2012, Mr. Majewski was a Managing Director and US Head of CLO Banking at RBS Securities Inc. (“RBS”) from September 2011 through September 2012, where he was responsible for all aspects of RBS’s new-issue CLO platform. Prior to joining RBS, Mr. Majewski was the US country head at AMP Capital Investors (US) Ltd. from August 2010 through September 2011, where he was responsible for investing in credit, structured products and other private assets on behalf of several Australian investors. Mr. Majewski has also held leadership positions within the CLO groups at Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith Inc., JPMorgan Securities Inc. and Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Mr. Majewski serves as a director of ECC and Black Mountain Systems, LLC. He is also a Non-Independent Director of the Company.

      Mr. Majewski has a B.S. from Binghamton University and has been a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

      Daniel Spinner, CAIA
      Mr. Spinner is a Principal and Portfolio Manager of Eagle Point Credit Management LLC. Mr. Spinner’s direct experience in the loan and CLO market dates back to the 1990s. Prior to joining Eagle Point, Mr. Spinner managed the private markets allocations for the 1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds. Prior to 1199SEIU, Mr. Spinner was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Bear Stearns, focused on alternative asset managers. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mr. Spinner was the co-founder and President of Structured Capital Partners, a financial holding company formed to invest in CLO and structured credit managers. Mr. Spinner was credit trained in 1996 at Chase Manhattan Bank, where he began his career and spent seven years in the Financial Institutions Group.

      Mr. Spinner earned a B.A., summa cum laude, from Gettysburg College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

    • Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
      Philip Li
      Phil is the Chief Operating Officer at Marble Point Credit Management. He is responsible for the daily operations at Marble Point, including loan operations and CLO compliance.

      Phil joined Marble Point from Eagle Point Credit Management where he was a Fund Controller. His responsibilities included accounting, financial and management reporting functions. Prior to joining Eagle Point, Mr. Li was a Vice President at GCM Grosvenor in the accounting and financial management department. Prior to this, Mr. Li was a Vice President in the Drawbridge Special Opportunities Credit Funds, at Fortress Investment Group where he was responsible for the compliance, surveillance, and middle office operations of CLOs. Phil has a financial accounting background from his time as a Senior Associate at KPMG.

      Mr. Li has a B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University School of Management, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and is an active Certified Public Accountant.

      Nauman Malik
      Nauman is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Eagle Point Credit Management and Chief Compliance Officer of Marble Point Credit Management. Nauman is primarily responsible for oversight of Eagle Point’s legal and compliance affairs and manages the compliance program of the Registered Investment Adviser. Prior to joining Eagle Point Credit Management in June 2015, Nauman was an attorney with Dechert LLP’s Financial Services Group and focused his practice on investment advisers, private funds (including hedge funds and private equity funds), open and closed-end registered investment companies, and non-U.S. fund distribution matters. Prior to Dechert, Nauman was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of an Asia-focused alternative investment manager that managed a variety of investment strategies, including equities, real estate and managed futures, and that had operations that spanned across the United States, India and Singapore. During his 4 year tenure, Nauman was responsible for managing the legal aspects of the firm as well as the firm’s SEC-compliance program.

      Nauman obtained his J.D. (cum laude) from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a B.S. in finance, marketing and operations and information management.

      Joe McElwee
      Prior to joining Marble Point in May 2017, Joe was employed by Deutsche Bank as a Vice President in the Credit Structuring group focused on the structuring, marketing and origination of New Issue CLO transactions backed by both Broadly Syndicated and Middle Market loans. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2015, Joe was an Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in their New Issue CLO group working as a CLO structurer.

      Joe holds a B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University.
